Urban air pollution affects the health, well-being and life chances of hundreds of millions of men, women and children every day, especially in developing countries in Asia and Africa.
My research has involved understanding the state of air quality, developing appropriate air quality management frameworks and building technical capacity to improve the air we breathe. I undertaken work in a number of Asian, African and European countries collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
